We returned to Jasper after our outing to Athabasca Falls in the morning. Nearing lunch time, we picked the nearby Beauvert Lake, just 3Km away to have our picnic lunch. This is the smallest lake (0.9Km long x 0.75Km wide) we visited but the landscape and scenery are stunning.
Jasper is popular to both local and foreign visitors. Many residents from the nearest city, Edmonton come here to take short weekend breaks and holidays.
The Jasper Park Lodge owned by Fairmount Hotels & Resorts complete with a lake side golf course is an indication of Jasper's popularity as a tourist destination.

Many scuba diving enthusiasts, before they set out to explore the lakes in and around Jasper and Banff, come here to have scuba diving lessons.
