Indulgence in Banff

Tooloulous in Banff is one of the eating places we went twice. Quite unlike our experience in Te Anau in the South Island of New Zealand (Read here), our first attempt on 24 August evening to dine there was unsuccessful because it was fully booked. Urged by the Manager, we decided to make a booking for the following evening. The next evening when we showed up at the scheduled time, we were duly taken to a table for two. Our main dish was a bucket of crawfish served with corn, potato, rice and sweet cornbread.

Crawfish Bucket.

Banff though not a big town, it offers terrific ambiance, architecture and awesome landscape. We decided to have our Canadian ice cream in open air by the paved walkway apron.
