Tooloulous in Banff is one of the eating places we went twice. Quite unlike our experience in Te Anau in the South Island of New Zealand (
Read here), our first attempt on 24 August evening to dine there was unsuccessful because it was fully booked. Urged by the Manager, we decided to make a booking for the following evening. The next evening when we showed up at the scheduled time, we were duly taken to a table for two. Our main dish was a bucket of crawfish served with corn, potato, rice and sweet cornbread.

Banff though not a big town, it offers terrific ambiance, architecture and awesome landscape. We decided to have our Canadian ice cream in open air by the paved walkway apron.
