Banff Gondola

Since the Canadian Rockies was my main destination of the trip to Canada, it was therefore a must that I pay a visit to the Banff Gondola. The reason is obvious. Banff Gondola is the faster mean to reach the high point in Banff to have a bird-eye view of the six stunning magnificent mountain ranges in the Rockies.

Fortunately, the crowd was not big the morning we arrived to buy the tickets on 25 August 2017. Before long, we boarded the 4-passenger gondola cabin to make the 8-minute journey to the summit. The gondola soared pass treetops on steep-sided rocky mountain. It finally stopped at the upper station built at an elevation of 2,281m (7,484ft),

To fully appreciate the beauty of the landscape, we did the 1Km long Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk all the way to Sanson's Peak.
