Excursions to the Beach

WA has a lot of beaches for family outings. Almost in every visit to WA, we never fail to spend some time at the beach or beaches. In our last visit in December 2022, we were at the beach next to Ledge Point where we stayed for a night with Serene's family (Read here).

In the recent visit, together with the families of Serene and Sam, we were at Coogee Beach immediately after our brunch at the Coogee Beach Life Saving Club.

In the family holidays with Sam's family to Clifton Lake area, Sam's family chose one afternoon to spend at the beach at Bunbury (Read here).

After Sam's family left for home in Singapore, Serene took us to another "beach" called the Bicton Baths. This is not exactly a beach per se but rather a portion of the river bank of the river mouth of the Swan River. The water is shallow and the area is enclosed by boardwalks. This is ideal for swimming and canoeing for families with young children.

We had great fun rowing and maneuvering the inflatable canoe portable raft.
