Ushering in 2020

We left Falkland in the evening of 30 December, sailed straight to Montevideo in Uraguay by-passing Puerto Madryn.

For the first time, we ushered in a new year not on land but somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean.

It began in the new year eve with a formal dinner in one of the restaurants and followed by a time of reveling with a big crowd of people of all nationalities. 

In the cruise, we met people from many countries. We met this couple of Indian ethnicity who come from Suriname, a small country in northern South America which we hardly knew before that encounter. 

With Rosy, a Malaysian who now resides in Switzerland and a singer who performed multiple times in the cruise auditorium.
