Blowhole in Bicheno

Before visiting Bicheno, the only blowhole I have visited is in Albany (Read here). It was by accident that we discovered the Bicheno blowhole after noticing a road sign while driving in Bicheno small town.

The bursts of water coming out of the blowhole is dependent of the ferocity of the waves. Gush could go as high as 20 m. Capturing its most spectacular moments require focus and patience.

A group of non Australian young adults holding working visa helped us to capture a photo of us with the erupting burst as the backdrop. In return, we did a group photo for them, of course with a spectacular gush as a backdrop!
