Not everyone agrees that Cape Leeuwin is where the Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean meet. Many consider the exact location to be "60th parallel south" (Read here). But then, is there a definite line that separates two seas? No, even oceanographers agrees that there is no discreet line that separates two oceans.
Cape Leeuwin is the most south-westerly point on the mainland of Australia. We were there to feel the strong wind and witness the choppy sea. We saw for the second time the majestic lighthouse which was opened since 1895. It has since served as a beacon to aid sea navigation and warn all sea vessels of this body of treacherous sea.
