We finally managed to fulfill one of our 'to do' list - going on a cruise holiday (23 March - 1 April). The experience was beyond our expectation. Here are some shots of what we did in the ship.
Among the tour group members are Philip and May.
The dinner service was impeccable. Picture above with Mr. Baiju, our waiter from Kerara India who has worked for Royal Caribbean for over 12 years.
24-hour cafe and the shopping arcade.
The casino.
For the more active guests, there is a swimming pool, a gym and a jogging track. Our friend Philip Quak jogged 10 rounds each morning. The more sedentary guests could just lounge around the deck. For the risk takers, there is of course a mini casino.
Apart from the non-stop buffets, there were so many activities on board the ship that we often reluctantly went to bed way past midnight. We loved the nightly coffee sessions at the Cafe Promenade - especially the varieties of sandwiches and cookies. Nathan would love those soft chewy cookies ! The nightly stage performances at the La Scala Theatre were awesome - from professional performers. A show would easily cost us 200 Sing Dollars. There was ice show, musicals, magic show, jugglers... Never before we have watched so many 3 D movies within a week - 4 great movies.
We were very impressed by the service of the house keeping staff. His creativity was amazing!
