Symphony & Ballet

Everyday, there are one to three dozens of music events being staged in Vienna. Hence, a visit to Vienna, recognised as the world's music city without watching a symphony orchestra performance would be incomplete. After all, it is in Vienna that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart found fame and composed his many symphonies, concertos and operas. As part of the itinerary, the whole group spent the evening of 12 September at Musikverein, an exquisite music hall to watch the Vienna Mozart Concert.

Musikverein - where the concert was held.
Conductor, musicians, singers were all in traditional
costumes and wigs.
The Golden Hall - an exquisite music hall.
Symphony is  not something
that everyone enjoys!

Earlier in Prague, a few of the group members spent an evening watching one of Tchaikovsky's master pieces, the Swan Lake Ballet in Hypernia Theatre. Confronted with host of ballet dancers dancing without any conversation and that my mind could hardly recollect the story line, it took quite a while and a lot of imagination to finally understand this classic fairytale!
