I was attracted to the posting in the internet of a Chinese restaurant in Cameron Highlands which serves pepper pork belly soup cooked using a large earthen urn.
This restaurant called Restoran Makanan Laut Sister is located in a small town called Kampong Raja approx. 17 Km from our hotel in Brinchang. It was raining heavily when we drove to find the restaurant. Somehow, even after reaching the designated GPS's location, we could not find the restaurant. Just when we were about to give up, my sister-in-law pointed to a dimly lighted signboard. The restaurant in fact was found in the middle of a row of wooden shophouses after turning left from the main road.
The food was not really fantastic. Still, I salute the proprietor for having this "gimmick" to attract customers!
