The embarking of the ferry, Seajets at Mykonos and the the disembarking of the ferry on arrival at Santorini's Athinios Port were probably the most maddening experience I had of the whole tour.
Before the embarkation, we were all well briefed in advance to prepare ourselves for this. Once the ferry arrived and the boarding bridge was lowered, we the outbound passengers rushed toward the rear entrance while the inbound passengers rushed out at the other side. Simultaneously, inbound vehicles moved out and the outbound vehicles moved in. The massive crowd had to move very quickly, sometimes being shoved and pushed along. It was as if we were running for our lives! Just imagine, hundreds of inbound passengers getting out and another hundreds of outbound passengers moving in and seated within a mere 10 minutes!
Once we have settled down in our seats, we ventured out to the deck to enjoy the view and the fresh air.

After arrival at the Athinios Port in Santorini, we boarded our bus and it proceeded to climb a winding road built on a steep hill with multiple hairpin bends. Along the ascending route, we had magnificent view of the sea and the ferry departing to its next destination.

Our first meal - lunch was at Simos Tavern, a family-run Greek restaurant. The interior of restaurant looks antique with fairly large potted trees placed inside.
We were seated at a table placed next to an open window just next to the main road. My main course, a baked fish reminded me of the meal I took soon after our tour of the Sea of Galilee (Read here). Unfortunately, there was no spectacular view of the sea!
Starter & Dessert.
Interestingly, it's the signboards in their toilets in this restaurant which I found to be the most amusing. While the sign for the male toilet is funny, I had difficulty figuring out the rationale for using such a motif at the female toilet !
