Perak Herb Garden

Another interesting place we made an unplanned visit was the Perak Herb Garden. At first we were doubtful of whether it was worth visiting , but we were glad we did. The garden was full of interesting plants.

Of particular interest was this plant below - said to be able to boost the male libido !! Well, we have this plant back home.

Below, on the left is the so called "Lidah Jin" or "Devil's Tongue" but sometimes it is called "Mother-in-law's Tongue" . The plant shown below at right is called Sabah Snake Grass and known to have some effect in treating cancer.

Another garden plant is the 'Garden Croton" or "Daun Puding" on the lower left below - the leaves are said to be be good for skin problem, help to ease urination and constipation. We used to have plenty of these in our garden. The long yellow leaves on the right can be used to treat gall stones.
