After the meeting with Jun Shi's family and before driving to BP, we also met up with some of our university friends together with some of their spouses for a reunion dinner. All of us at one time stayed at the 5th Residential College of Malaya University and were members of the 5th College Christian Fellowship.
There is always this nostalgia when we recall the 1970's when we were all young adults, care-free and focusing in our studies and occasionally thinking of having a successful careers and happy families.
Many among us are now grandparents. Understandably, with the passing of time, the group is getting smaller and smaller. The size further shrunk after one of the members, Mooi Eng passed away recently on 21 August 2014 (Read here). We recognized that this is the fact of life. That reality prompted the group to plan for a trip to Sabah possibly next year for another reunion.

Immediately after the reunion dinner, a suggestion was made that a WhatApp chat group be set up to link up all these ex-fifians. I obliged and the members are now linked instantly via their smart phones. So far, almost all are linked up except a few who have yet to using smart phones.
