It was fortunate that I finally yielded to the continuous "pleading" of the "Pengarah" to join her in her Institute's Staff Motivation Camp 2009 at the Teluk Usukan Resort. I got to see places which otherwise I won't be able to visit and see now that the circle of friend is shrinking and the energy level is in the normal process of reverse gear. When life becomes a routine, there is a need to have some ripples on and off and to add bits and pieces of spices so to speak.
I finally managed to see and walk on the the jetty described by many: "Where the Japanese packed the copper, gold and other minerals from Sabah (Manut Mine) to Japan in the 70's and 80's". It turned out to be picturesque both by day and by the twilight.
The Usukan is indeed a breath-taking beautiful place. Corals literally lined the whole bay. I wonder why Chio never mentioned about this place.
