Changing of Guard at STS

When the world has yet to get over the tragic crash of flight QZ8501 from Surabaya to Singapore at the imminent end of 2014 on 28 December 2014, we were confronted with yet another tragedy: the killing rampage in Charlie Hebdo, Paris by radicalized individuals on 7 January 2015. This happened shortly after we ended wishing each other "Best of 2015".

At home in KK, there was a change of guard finally at the Sabah Theological Seminary. The founder Principal finally stepped down at the end of 2014 after 26 years service. A new Principal, Dr. Wilfred John takes over the Seminary starting from 2015. He was officially installed on 6 January 2015.

Letting go appears difficult for some people. Many organizations fail to innovate and reform simply because the leadership refuses to let go and this causes the entity to become a fenced up "institution".  One must learn to recognize that nobody is indispensable. It is commendable that STS has taken the step in the changing of guard.
